Amazing seats at Fenway for a 9th inning, season-ending, collapse

As I left Fenway I felt like it was October 2003 again. It certainly hurt because I was at the game. Pap, after 28 scoreless post-season innings, imploded giving up a bases-clearing double for 3 runs in the 9th. My mood was akin to breaking up with a long-term girlfriend and I was nauseated for most of the walk home and spent the remainder of the day in daze, trying to reconcile the surreal events that had taken place.

We were first row behind the bullpen, even got a ball which I passed to a Staff Sqt. we befriended during what was, until the end, an intoxicatingly fun game. Pure fun. But that Purity was tainted and to make matters worse, we then had to watch the Patriots excruciating overtime loss in Denver and Bruins walked away with a losing record on their first homestand.

Well, we still Brady knocking off the rust (hopefully,) the Celtics - on paper - posed for another championship, Harvard hockey and Syracuse basketball and you B's team.

But the current question is - who to root for for the remainder the MLB playoffs? Evil Empire - no way in hell, Angels - yes against the Yankees, no against anyone else. Manny's Dodgers -no, so I guess I will take by default, the winner Phils/Colorado series if they don't get snowed out.

BTW - several ski resorts are already open in Colorado. Cheers.
